We are a design/fabricating & mechanical repair shop primarily established in the exploration/ mining industry of Canada and distributor to worldwide mineral exploration projects.

Centrally located in Manitoba, Canada our facility allows shipping and logistics to be executed effortlessly from the high arctic or from coast to coast.

Our CWB certification to the W47.1 level along with certified welders is one of our greatest assets and assures that you the customer receives a quality product that is required and expected from most mine site operations and quality drilling contractors.

With a combined 60 years of experience in the surface and underground drilling and mining industry, specifically diamond coring and sonic overburden coring it is without doubt that we have seen the requirements evolve and we understand what is needed from design to manufacturing to make your company a success!

Capabilities

  • Fully equipped fab-shop with washbay & paint booth
  • CWB/ W47.1 certified shop and welding supervisory personnel
  • GMAW/ TIG aluminum and stainless/ SMAW/ Plasma
  • Machining capacity- small to large diameter turning and milling
  • Ground handling equipment includes 10,000 lbs. or greater lift truck/ wheel loader complete with large fork carrier
  • Tilt/ slide flat deck truck hauling pick-up and delivery service
  • Semi trailer loading dock/ shipping/ receiving department
  • Secure outside storage and indoor warehouse facilities

COMPANY HISTORY

It was in1997 when owner James Hnatishin left Midwest Drilling in Winnipeg to pursue other ventures. It wasn’t long after that he realized the need for a quality fab/ repair shop to service the drilling industry. In 1998 Canadian Serval Industries was born and has grown today with the same rule to operate by. Quality products = Quality results. With 2 generations of family involved in the business we continue to take pride in what we produce for years to come!
